About the role
The Senior Lecturer, Early Childhood will be expected to actively engage in teaching and student engagement related activities within the discipline of Early Childhood. The Senior Lecturer, Early Childhood will engage in the delivery of courses in the Early Childhood courses offered by Federation University.
You will:
- provide leadership in developing, teaching, coordinating, and moderating courses at undergraduate, honours and graduate levels;
- supervise students undertaking project courses, honours programs and research higher degrees;
- make significant contributions to research activities; and
- contribute significantly to the administrative functions of the Institute.
About you
The Senior Lecturer, Early Childhood will be expected to work independently in the conduct of teaching and research activities and assume a leadership role within the Institute in one or more of the areas of teaching, research and administration.
You will possess:
- demonstrated commitment to and enthusiasm for teaching and learning, and a good teaching record;
- demonstrated record of research at a national level;
- organisational and administrative abilities necessary for the construction, coordination and administration of units; and
- capacity to work independently, as well as part of a team.
