Form of workOur client is a highly successful Australian business with offices currently interstate. Due to growth and an extensive portfolio of work in Sydney, they are expanding the business into Adelaide and seeking a talented senior Corporate Commercial lawyer for a pivotal role in the newly established team.
You will report to the Head of Legal and be part of a high performance and close-knit legal team working in a collaborative and flexible environment.
Responsibilities
- Transaction matters such M&A, including the sale and purchase of property
- Instructing matters from establishment to scaling to exit strategy
- Day-to-day commercial matters including service agreements, commercial contracts, governance, terms and conditions and polices
- Intellectual property and
- Data and privacy matters
The Successful Candidate
- Relevant law degree with strong academics
- Hold an unsupervised practising certificate as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of South Australia or the High Court of Australia
- Influential and values-led legal professional with 5-8 years’ post qualification experience
- Experience in commercial law, M&A and corporate advisory from a leading law firm
- Strong technical legal skills and commercial drafting experience are both essential
- A proactive, positive, and energetic approach with a commitment to provide excellent service and develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong leadership skills and passionate about being a key member of a high performing team that has a strong focus on customer experience
- A desire to support the ongoing expansion of the business through marketing and business development
