About the role
The company is seeking to recruit a Senior Legal Counsel into an M&A/Corporate role, reflecting a company that is growing and innovating. Reporting to the General Counsel, you will join a close knit in-house legal team that works collaboratively to provide a responsive and effective legal service across the business. This Senior Legal Counsel position will be responsible for providing legal support, services and advice to the Group in relation to M&A, corporate and company secretarial matters, finance/treasury, IT and projects. The role may also include some business as usual/ business unit work on ad hoc basis. As Senior Legal Counsel, you will guide the business in a way that strikes an appropriate balance between achieving commercial objectives and sensibly managing legal risk.
About you
EBOS Group seeks a corporate/M&A lawyer at senior associate level or equivalent level in-house. In-house or secondment experience will be highly regarded. M&A experience is essential, as is the ability to liaise confidently across the business including at Executive level. You are an independent individual who enjoys a high-level of responsibility and autonomy and brings a commercial outlook. This is a fast-faced, high growth commercial environment so the role suits a lawyer with outstanding interpersonal skills, a “can do” approach and the ability to juggle a range of priorities.
