We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Legal Counsel to join our lawyer on demand team for a 3-6 Month Contract. This role offers an excellent day rate and an exciting opportunity to contribute to the legal aspects of our client's Solar Farm Construction projects.
As the Senior Legal Counsel, your role encompasses a comprehensive range of responsibilities to ensure the successful legal management of Solar Farm Construction projects. Your specific tasks will include:

• Contract Drafting and Review: Diligently prepare, scrutinize, and refine legal documents, with a primary focus on crafting and reviewing construction contracts, subcontractor agreements, and associated project documentation.
• Risk Management: Undertake a meticulous analysis of potential legal risks inherent in Solar Farm Construction projects. Devise and implement strategic measures to proactively mitigate and manage these risks.
• Compliance Oversight: Vigilantly oversee compliance with applicable laws and regulations governing the construction industry and renewable energy projects. Ensure adherence to legal standards throughout the project life cycle.
• Legal Advisory Services: Provide timely, nuanced legal advice to internal stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and other teams involved in Solar Farm Construction. Offer guidance on legal implications, strategies, and best practices.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Foster effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, facilitating communication and understanding between legal and project teams. Act as a legal liaison to ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Project Documentation Management: Systematically organize and manage all legal documentation related to Solar Farm Construction projects. Ensure accurate and accessible records for future reference and compliance purposes.
• Due Diligence: Conduct thorough legal due diligence for potential Solar Farm Construction projects. Identify and assess legal aspects, potential challenges, and contractual requirements to inform decision-making.
• Continuous Legal Education: Stay abreast of developments in construction law and renewable energy regulations. Share insights and updates with the legal and project teams to enhance collective knowledge and compliance.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified solicitor with 5 years of experience in construction law, with a focus on renewable energy projects.
• Proven track record in drafting and negotiating complex construction contracts.
• Strong understanding of the legal and regulatory landscape related to Solar Farm Construction.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
