Senior Legal Counsel

• Proven in-house experience advising global technology companies (SaaS experience a plus) with business acumen  
• Legal expertise ideally gained through a combination of law firm and in-house experiences, with a minimum of two years' involvement in company secretarial matters for ASX-listed entities 
• Current practicing certificate issued by the Law Society of NSW and admitted to practice as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW  
• Focused experience in Corporations Law and ASX Listing Rules, as well as overall broad legal knowledge 
• An effective communicator capable of conveying messages to diverse audiences, both verbally and in writing. Proficient in facilitating meaningful discussions and skillful in gathering feedback from others with eloquence and confidence. 
• High degree of professional ethics and integrity  
• Excellent judgement and analytical skills  
• Excellent learning agility 
• Strong stakeholder management skills  
• Demonstrates a high sense of ownership, initiative, and the capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively as a team player. 
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, including leadership and supervisory abilities.  
• Demonstrated ability to foster, motivate, and cultivate relationships within a team environment 
• Proven ability to collaborate and communicate effectively in a matrixed environment and across multiple time-zones.  
• Ability to influence, negotiate, guide, and work with cross-functional teams to achieve joint objectives.  
• A pragmatic, driven and autonomous professional who thrives in a growing and fast environment as the trusted legal advisor. 

Bonus if you have:  

• Experience in executing mergers and acquisitions 
• AICD and /or Graduate Certificate Corporate Governance Qualifications 
• Contemporary demonstrated knowledge in meeting procedures, creating and setting agendas and drafting minutes
