As a Senior Litigator, in our Office of the Chief Tax Counsel business area, you’ll lead multiple complex litigation and dispute resolution cases, undertake research, prepare highly complex court documents and correspondence, and advocate as required. You’ll manage relationships with legal stakeholders and appear in complex legal proceedings and hearings on tax technical, debt recovery and administrative law matters.
You will contribute to precedential litigation matters that help to shape the interpretation of taxation laws of Australia. You’ll perform an important leadership role and actively work to build capability within the agency. You’ll drive the improvement of litigation practices and policy, technology and reporting changes.
These roles may be offered on an ongoing or non-ongoing basis in Adelaide, Brisbane CBD, Hobart, Melbourne CBD, Perth or Sydney CBD.
