Senior Management Accountant Wanted!

One of the Gold Coast's largest suppliers within the travel and tourism sector are looking for a Senior Management Accountant.
Your new role
This role will see you acting as the first point of contact for the Finance team on any finance related matters. This will include providing the management team with advice, monthly reporting and support on all facets of financial performance through high quality analysis and interpretation.
Responsibilties:
- Manage the development, production and analysis of high-level performance reports and advice as well as detailed supporting data to meet the financial information needs of managers and staff at various levels.
- Engage with business managers on a regular & ad-hoc basis. Present monthly financial results at their meetings and help them understand opportunities for improvements. Assist them and their support staff in planning, forecasting and budgeting activities.
- Conduct commercial analysis and bench marking
- Establish and maintain systems to manage and support the planning, forecasting and budgeting processes. This includes monitoring performance against relevant targets.
- Review of business cases and provide reliable advice on the accounting treatment of capital project expenditure.
- Co-ordinate analysis and other investigations to produce accurate, relevant and timely information and advice to monitor and manage business performance.
- Pro-actively analyse complex financial issues o provide advice and recommendations.
- Work effectively in a professional team that is customer and results oriented, including contributing where required to broader Head Office Finance issues.
- Contribute to a safety-first environment and work within Workplace Health and Safety policies, procedures and guidelines at all times.
What you'll need to succeed
- CA, CGMA or CPA Qualified.
- Minimum 4+ years business analysis or financial management experience.
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrates strong organisational / time management skills.
- Ability to handle challenging situations with tact and diplomacy.
- Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse group of stakeholders in a high volume, high value environment.
