We take a values-based leadership approach putting our people at the centre of everything we do, striving to deliver our mission of Excellence in Care through our CORE Values of Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment.ABOUT THE ROLEThe Senior Manager Asset Planning is responsible for planning, managing and coordinate the provision of all property-related asset management services across the State to support the strategic and service delivery requirements of NSW Ambulance, such as the development and maintenance of the Strategy Asset Management Plans (SAMP), Asset Maintenance Plans (AMP) according to Ministry Guidelines and Treasury Policy and alignment to NSW Ambulance corporate goals.The position holder will also be required to develop short-, medium- and long-term property investment strategies, programs of works for capital works and planned maintenance for property upkeep, life cycle replacements and improvements, including business cases and submissions for funding from the NSW Ministry of Health and NSW Treasury. - Relevant tertiary qualifications in an asset management, project management, property or business-related discipline and/or demonstrated industry experience that involved engineering, construction, asset management and/or facility building services
- Proven senior-level experience in the management and delivery of capital works projects and programs and prioritising competing demands for resources, including team management.
- High-level communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills with the demonstrated ability to prepare to high standard project documentation and other written communications, and the ability to liaise with senior stakeholders
