You will
- Undertake the role of 'Trusted Advisor' in the assigned region for R&R project delivery.
- Support the wider business, including Operations, Sales and Facilities Management team.
- Provide leadership of internal and external stakeholders for project delivery
- Have responsibility for overseeing all R&R activities delivered by their team.
- A structured approach to cost optimization across all spend types including annual and bi-annual reviews.
- Be accountable for compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards and Aveo policies and procedures.
- Assist with the development of Sustainability strategies and initiatives at each of the communities.
- Use CRM (Customer Relationship System) to input data for projects.
- Works closely with Sales, Property Project Managers, Community Operations Managers, Community Managers, Contractors.
What you'll bring
- Residential building industry experience but not necessarily trade or formal building qualification (although this would be useful)
- Flexibility as will be delivering R&R work directly as well as managing a team.
- Contractor management, including performance and cost management
- Team management and development of field based team members (will be managing a team of three Asset Refurbishment Managers)
- Strong IT skills as reporting and forecasting R&R programme will be required
- Able to handle high volume of work as will be delivering around 400 projects annually across the Qld team, and around 80 of these directly.
- Commercial acumen in working directly with Sales team to ensure finished product meets market expectations while controlling costs
