As a Senior Manager, you will lead the Vendor and Asset management for the Information Technology department. This is an opportunity to establish a new role to deliver improved outcomes from vendors critical to the Bank's objectives and to ensure the Bank’s technology assets are maintained to support the Bank’s business objectives. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to uplift the management practices and outcomes for key vendors. You will also engage with the Enterprise Procurement team to develop frameworks for Vendor and Asset management.
Key objectives for the role
- Develop, implement and maintain the IT Vendor Management Framework.
- Oversee the management of the IT vendor portfolio and relevant contracts.
- Oversee vendor performance management.
- Develop, implement and maintain the Technology Asset Management Framework.
- Oversee the development of Asset Management plans to manage the asset lifecycle, including obsolescence and replacement.
- Support and guide IT vendor relationship owners and IT asset owners.
- Collaborate closely with the Enterprise Procurement team.
About You
You will have:
- Extensive commercial experience in Vendor Management.
- Experience of managing large IT Vendors such as CISCO, Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, ServiceNow.
- Deep knowledge of the technology supplier market.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Effective contract management, including performance management requirements.
