Lead change and transformation for the Cabin Crew portfolio at National Jet SystemsDrive crew performance and customer experience as we introduce more A220 to our fleetPermanent, full-time opportunity, based in Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne or BrisbaneAs the Senior ManagerCabin Crew Operations, you will be responsible for the end to end strategic people leadership, development, and management of the National Jet Systems Cabin Crew portfolio. The role reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer and has direct accountability and end to end strategic and operational ownership of productivity metrics including; on time performance, people and customer safety, customer experience NPS, cost improvement, transformation, and ancillary revenue.As we look forward to introducing more Airbus A220s into our fleet, this role will be responsible for ensuring Cabin Crew can acquit the increased flying demand. This includes increased workforce growth to over 400 Cabin Crew members by FY27 incorporating a significant shift in labour mix. The role has additional leadership of a team of Cabin Crew Managers who are responsible for day of operations at the bases. Ensuring all are equipped with operating in a dual-class environment that complies with regulatory, statutory, and industrial award obligations.You’ll have:Ability to formulate, create and drive business strategies that will ensure long term growth, high customer engagement and sustainability in a complex Cabin Crew operating environment.Ability to strategically influence and contribute to solving complex business matters as a member of the Executive Leadership teamExperience as a senior operations and customer service professional with a demonstrated depth of experience in the airline industryStrong senior operational management experience with ability to influence key stakeholders including regulatory agencies (i.e. CASA)Experience leading significant change and transformation of safety and service outcomes in a dynamic and constantly evolving contextExtensive experience in design and implementation for workforce strategies across a complex, evolving industrial workforceLead the team to execute key deliverables through strong leadership coaching and development.Acute and well-developed commercial sense and ability to focus on the business fundamentalClear and effective written and verbal communication skillsCapacity for hard work and modelling Qantas Group beliefs and behavioursWhy the Qantas Group?You’ll join a team where creativity and passion are encouraged.
