About the role
A senior role working within Communify's Aged Care Services, you will be responsible for all aspects of clinical governance. This includes leadership, development, implementation, and management of quality practice standards across the delivery of HCP and CHSP and other Aged Care support services.
This is a great opportunity for a senior clinician aiming to secure a permanent full time contract in a leading not for profit community services and health care organisation.
- Working with the Service Coordinators, you’ll work to provide outstanding care to clients in our Aged Care service, advocating individualised care that enhances and promotes their quality of life.
- Overseeing a team of nurses, care, clinical and allied health staff, you’ll empower your team leaders through learning, support and leadership in order to advance the level of service to our Aged Care clients.
- You’ll ensure care governance and quality compliance are achieved through robust processes that meet internal and external auditing standards.
About you
- Prior experience working in clinical governance within Aged Care, ideally with a home-based care service provider.
- Exceptional people leader and positive role model who can provide advanced clinical guidance and support to staff.
- Current AHPRA registration / Registered Nurse background is a must.
- Relevant post graduate qualifications. This could include health care management or clinical practice/leadership/governance is desirable.
- Able to demonstrate strong knowledge and understanding of the Aged Care act, quality standards, and HCP and CHSP services.
- Extensive experience using data management systems, client management systems and MS Office with the ability to produce data and reports
- Own car and driver’s license, NDIS Workers screening Check, relevant Covid-19 Vaccination evidence.

Funding is primarily from the Commonwealth under both CHSP and HCP. Services reporting to this role include In Home Support, Home care Packages, Home Assist Secure, Day Respite, and Transport.
