What does the job look like?
Reporting to the President Corporate Services, the Senior Manager Corporate Affairs & Communications is responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies and manage Corporate Affairs.
The Senior Manager Corporate Affairs & Communications will work closely with the Marketing and Communications team and internal and external stakeholders to create high quality content, including planning, copywriting and editing to create informative and engaging communications for key audiences.

With demonstrated experience leading and guiding a Corporate Affairs and or communications or marketing team, you’ll be responsible for providing specialist advice to the CEO and Executives on all Corporate Affairs and communication matters; and identifying opportunities to mitigate internal and external issues and risks.
Key accountabilities
- Lead Linfox’s media strategy, including managing reactive media
- Ensure any potential communications/media risks or issues are raised and managed effectively
- Lead online news, including managing company website stories
- Assist in planning and execution of campaigns and Communications
- Support internal campaigns and Communications with copywriting, design, and layout assistance.
Skills, Knowledge & Competencies
- Demonstrated experience leading and guiding a Corporate Affairs and or communications or marketing team
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Degree with a strong communications component, e.g., marketing, communications
- Demonstrated experience in senior communications roles within large corporate environments
- Content creation and copywriting
- Familiarity with WordPress desirable
- Understanding of what ‘best practice’ looks like on all social media platforms.
