An exciting senior brand marketing & leadership opportunity exists in the current launch of a first in class, new chemical entity in the Dermatology space. The Senior Manager Marketing role provides the opportunity to shape the market and continue building a runway for the success of this exciting medicine through the use of innovative solutions to meeting customer needs. The successful candidate will lead ambitious launch execution through strong cross functional leadership, strategic planning, leveraging of insights, executional excellence & a strong customer focus.
Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership –lead the Launch Team leveraging the traits of accountability, passion, integrity, resilience & adaptability, focus & empathy to ensure an aligned, energized & motivated team.
Inspiring teams – communicate an inspiring brand vision throughout the Dermatology and wider Immunology franchise and broader organization to ensure excitement, engagement and passion
Strategic Thinking – display and lead strategic thinking across the brand team, resulting in the development & delivery of marketing plans that leverage insights with aligned objectives across customers, patients and BMS
Influencing – influence stakeholders across BMSA & across customer / external stakeholder groups to ensure broad internal and external advocacy
Innovation - create a collaborative team environment that encourages innovation and focuses on approaches which enhance the customer experience
Championing – lead an omnichannel engagement approach to ensure superior customer experience
Deliver Performance – in line with BMSA brand key performance indicators
Consolidate market-place leadership for BMS
Identify and monitor key performance indicators to drive strategic and tactical agility and ensure that customer, patient and cross-functional insights are considered in all plans and tactics
Manage external vendors and internal partners to ensure teams are clearly briefed to deliver effective execution and transparent feedback is regularly provided
Develop and manage budgets and resources ensuring effort and spend is optimized.
Internal brand communications across the business to a wider range of stakeholders including the senior management team
Build and maintain excellent stakeholder networks and relationships both internally and externally
Ensure business objectives and practices are fully compliant with relevant laws, regulations and BMS standards of business conduct and ethics
Our ideal candidate will be an experienced cross functional leader, with high energy and demonstrated excellence in project management, effectively managing multiple projects/priorities to meet deadlines. In addition:
Science or Business/Marketing (or equivalent) degree
At least 5 years of pharmaceutical industry marketing experience, preferably in Dermatology and/or product launch experience
Demonstrated experience managing complex interactions with senior stakeholders
Product launch experience will be highly valued
Demonstrated ability to develop and effectively communicate marketing strategy, with deep understanding of marketing /application of marketing concepts
Demonstrated ability to understand and integrate enterprise-wide insights into strategic plans
Strong Business acumen and Strategic thinking skills
Campaign attribution to Customer Experience metrics, with ability to measure the levels of customer engagement/satisfaction against planned tactics
Integrated Channel and Content Planning / Omnichannel Engagement Planning to maximize engagements based on customer preferences and messaging aligned across all channels
Effective working knowledge of Microsoft suite (XLS, PPT, Word) and various business support/ CRM systems and tools

BMS has a diverse occupancy structure that determines where an employee is required to conduct their work. Site-essential roles require 100% of shifts onsite at your assigned facility. Site-by-design roles may be eligible for a hybrid work model with at least 50% onsite at your assigned facility.
