The Opportunity:


Focusing on transformation, change, expansion and service delivery, the Senior ManagerFacilities and Property Operations will manage, lead, develop and implement the organisation's strategic asset management plan. You will focus on delivering minor works, buildings, grounds maintenance and hospitality services across a multi-site property portfolio in South Australia, with future interstate expansion plans.  

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Lead, inspire and develop a high-performing team comprising 5 direct reports and 35 staff. Consult and provide clear direction around performance standards, training and succession planning to uplift learning, performance, and customer-centricity.
  • Drive the implementation of the Asset Management Programme, including developing 5, 10, and 15-year Asset Lifecycle Plans and engaging successfully with stakeholders to ensure positive outcomes.
  • Champion continuous improvement concerning comprehensive maintenance, procurement strategies and quality operational practices to enhance occupancy growth and sales.
  • Promote and ensure the health and safety of all staff, clients, contractors, and customers.
  • Prepare, forecast and manage OPEX and CAPEX budgets to reflect quality deliverables, future growth and expansion, legislation and compliance.
  

Your Skillsets and Attributes:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, such as facilities management or building services engineering, and extensive senior management experience across a diverse organisation and multi-site property portfolio are required.
  • Extensive experience in Facilities and asset management across a diverse organisation and a multi-site property portfolio.
  • You will be a proven people manager, confident in managing directly employed personnel working in the field or the office and providing leadership to reignite and refocus on key company initiatives.
  • Prior success in delivering asset management practices and principles, including implementing new systems and drawing on data to inform planning. Attention to detail and systems and structure will resonate with you.
  • Successfully write, present and implement business plans using data and trends as evidence to result in sound decision-making relating to transformation and future expansion.
  • An effective communicator from the top down, to connect and build rapport with staff, stakeholders and contractors to champion customer service excellence and successfully implement the facilities management strategy.
