About the role- Assistant Venue ManagerTasks & responsibilities
- Assist in all front of house operations: shift running & driving, staff training and supervision, food and beverage service, customer relations and function running, hitting KPI's and sales kits on shift
- Assist in back of house operations: Ordering and stocktake, rosters, recruitment, menu management, venue presentation and general maintenance (training provided), reporting, local marketing
- Reporting to Venue Operations Manager/General Manager

- You are comfortable making decisions but also following directions from management
- Flexible to work varying shifts including nights and weekends
- Have a valid NSW RSA
Experience and qualifications
- Have a valid NSW RSA and WWC
- Prior Assistant Manager experience (min 2 years)
- Demonstrated people management experience (min 2 years)
- Demonstrated experience with staffing and rostering
- Experience with POS and booking systems preferable
- Experience with event management and hospitality desirable
