This is a newly created position with our Business and Agri Banking division and if you have experience in Financial Markets of the banking products this may be a great opportunity for you.
As a Senior Manager Financial Markets , you will be responsible for leading and assisting the Financial Markets sales team. The role requires strong connections with members of the Specialist Sales team, Financial Markets Risk and Structuring, and key stakeholders within the Group.
We are seeking someone with the desired skills and experience for the role:
- Maintain and grow the Financial Markets FX and IR customer portfolio and resultant revenue including portfolio breadth, depth, number of customers, types of transactions etc
- Deliver strategic risk management solutions using both electronic and traditional dealing channels.
- You will have a deep understanding of all regulatory, operational and credit risks involved in managing their Financial Markets sales portfolio, including customer classification and advice models.
- Mentor and coach the team to ensure compliance and customer service requirements are accomplished.
- Monitor financial performance and reporting regular results to management.
- Design and implement strategies to grow the number of customers the FX desk supports.
- Explore business development tactics to identify chances to help consumers manage their interest rate exposure.
To be successful you will have:
- Leadership experience in the Financial Markets
- Advanced influencing, sales, and presentation skills
- Knowledge of the current Australian and international regulatory requirements for Financial Markets.
- Expertise in the specific field of Financial Markets, including complex client transactions, risk management procedures, and portfolio revenue enhancement tactics.
- AFMA accreditation with Foreign Exchange emphasis, or RG146.
This is a full-time position, based in Melbourne. Hybrid ways of working are core to how we operate today with a minimum 2 days working from an office. Flexible work options are also available.
