As a Senior ManagerGroup Financial Crime Compliance you will assist the Global MLRO manage Zip's Australian and New Zealand AML/CTF programs. As part of a close-knit, high performing global team you will provide AML/CTF advisory and assurance services to our Zip businesses in Australia and New Zealand. This role is a 12 months parental leave cover.
Interesting problems you'll get to solve
- Assist the Global MLRO manage the Australian and New Zealand AML/CTF Programs.
- Own the line two Financial Crime Compliance testing and monitoring for Zip Australia and New Zealand.
- Leverage your interpersonal skills and provide line two AML/CTF advisory services to our Zip Australia and New Zealand teams.
- Utilize your superior domain knowledge and drive AML/CTF risk assessments, jurisdictional risk assessments and contribute to the Zip Co Group enterprise risk assessment.
- Manage AML/CTF incidents and issues within the operational risk management framework.
- Leverage your data skills and assist in the preparation of Zip Co Board reporting.
What you'll bring to the team
- At least 5 years of experience in Financial Crime policy, advisory and/or assurance
- Strong relationship management skills, with evidence of working effectively and collaboratively within and across teams in an agile way
- Proven experience in being hands on and delivering tangible compliance outcomes
- Previous risk experience in a financial services or payment processor is preferred, but is not mandatory
- A positive mindset paired with a strong bias to action
- An inquiring mind and is fearless with challenging assumptions and the status quo
