Senior Manager Head To Health Upper Hunter

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate leader to oversee our Head to Health program servicing Muswellbrook, Singleton and Scone Health to Health is a free mental health support service for people aged 18+ experiencing distress and provides a welcoming entry point for engagement, assessment, care planning and coordination and recovery-oriented interventions. This new program is funded by the Commonwealth Government to 30 June 2026.

This role gives you an opportunity to:

We are looking for a visionary leader with a desire to make a difference. The successful candidate will have:

• Tertiary qualifications or equivalent senior experience in a relevant discipline i.e. psychology, mental health nursing or social work (with mental health accreditation) and relevant professional registration e.g. AHPRA, AASW
• Extensive experience in a senior management role leading teams in the mental health, social and human services sector
• At least 2 years demonstrated experience in managing and overseeing the delivery of mental health services to people with mild to severe mental health concern
• Demonstrated knowledge and skills in delivering services supporting people in psychological distress and in recovery from trauma and ability to provide workforce mentoring and support. 
• Demonstrated ability to deliver results in line with organisational priorities and implement innovative and effective solutions to complex problems.  
• Outstanding relationship, negotiation and conflict management skills. 
• Demonstrated experience in establishing and building stakeholder relationships and developing new programs of work.
