Your new role
In this key role you will be responsible for ensuring that investment information is reported and communicated in an accurate, timely, efficient, and relevant manner to all stakeholders. This is the official independent source of Investment Reporting for the Fund. The key Stakeholders you will engage with include Investments Group, Non-Investments Groups,External Stakeholders (including Regulators), the Board, and Investment Committee.
As this is a leadership role you will be involved in managing the effective transition and automation of Investment Reporting, ensuring that performance methodologies and processes are documented and updated along with overseeing the preparation of investment content for internal and external stakeholders.
Key duties include but are not limited to:
- Manage the effective transition and automation of Investment Reporting to streamline our reporting processes to improve accuracy, efficiency and reduce operational risk.
- Have a strong knowledge of key investment activities, investment processes, strategies, and positioning to develop accurate and timely reporting and communications as appropriate.
- Be able to apply investment and stakeholder engagement experience to assist the Fund in effectively communicating investment information to all stakeholders.
- Oversee the delivery of periodic and ad hoc reporting to Investments Group,Non-Investments Groups, External Stakeholders, Senior Management, the Investment Committee, and the Board.
- Oversee and maintain the P&A system(Ortec PEARL), processes and appropriate system automation in meeting the performance and attribution requirements of multiple stakeholders.
- Ensure performance methodologies & processes are documented and updated regularly.
- Ensure appropriate investment contentis generated to support and analyse investment performance for Investment Options, Asset classes and individual portfolios.
- Oversee the preparation of investment content, working collaboratively with other internal teams to analyse investment performance returns, explain the drivers of performance, costs,risks across the portfolios and where required, produce written and verbal summaries.
What you'll need
- Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Commerce, Business, Mathematics, or similar discipline.
- High level communication, influencing, stakeholder management and networking abilities.
- Experience in leading high performing teams.
- Ability to manage business relationships with flexibility and innovation.
- Experience with superannuation funds or funds management and understanding of financial markets, investment management principles, instruments, and investment strategies.
- Experience with performance and attribution systems that support leading practices.
- Demonstrated understanding of performance methodologies.
- Experience in developing written investment content for stakeholders.
