The Company
Join a Chartered Accounting firm that has been a progressive player in the professional services field for over 10 years. This boutique organisation based in Melbourne CBD takes pride in their amazing culture, friendly management and staff as well as their outstanding knowledge in tax and business advisory.
The Role
Our client is now looking for a Senior Manager to join them with focus on staff management and portfolio management. There is an opportunity to become a Partner in the future and there is excellent training and support within the close knit team.
Further Duties
- Liaise with clients and prepare accounts, tax returns, FBT returns, BAS and other compliance matters
- Work with accounting programs, such as MYOB, Xero and APS
- Effectively build relationships with clients and team members
- Manage, train and review work from more junior staff
- Track performance, manage budgets and WIP
The Applicant
- 5+ years’ experience in Business Services & Tax within public practice
- A university degree in relevant field (Accounting, Finance or similar)
- CA qualification in place
- Attitude, career focus and communication skills are important for this opportunity
- Be switched on, driven and goal focused to fit into this working environment
