Your Team
You will be part of the Colonial First State (CFS) Technology Line 1 Risk Team supporting the CFS business and will also be actively part of the CFS Technology Extended Management Team.
Line 1 Technology Risk is a team of risk, technology and cyber specialists supporting CFS Technology and the broader CFS business in the delivery of their outcomes within an effective risk culture.
Your Responsibilities
- Assessing Technology, Data and Cyber risks and controls and reporting key themes in line with the CFS Risk Framework
- Gathering and analysing risk reports (including KRIs, IT Incidents PIR's) and data to identify and understand risks
- Undertaking reviews of control testing to ensure controls are effectively managing risks and applicable compliance obligations (i.e. CPS234 and CPS235)
- Ensuring effective design of controls for all new and changing processes through the Risk in Change (RiC) framework, and working with Line 1 Risk and project stakeholders across CFS to understand the impact to the CFS risk profile from projects
- Actively representing Technology Risk on the CFS Transformation Program of work including assisting with Technology Risk Assessments (TRA), understanding the impacts of the change to the Technology Risk and controls and providing technology risk advice on Technology delivery risks associated to the Program of Work
Your Capability and Experience
- 4+ years' experience in technology and / or operational risk management, with a minimum of 3+ years in a Technology Risk function
- An advanced understanding of the Risk and control environment and framework with proven experience with operational and Compliance risks
- Implementation of Risk Management Frameworks, Controls and a sound grasp on Agile Delivery / New Ways of Working
- Understanding of risk management frameworks and relevant certifications e.g. GS007, ASAE3402, COBIT, ISO2700x)
- Domain knowledge of a Technology Risk Engagement and Advisory practices and ideally demonstrated experience leading a function of Risk advisors for Financial Services
- Experience with Risk in Change and Supplier Risk functions preferred
- Familiarity with APRA standards (not limited to CPS220, 231, 232, 234, 235)
