Join Jetstar as Senior Manager, Network Planning – International and Asia. In this influential role, you will lead international network strategy development and optimisation across Australia, New Zealand (including NZ Domestic) and Singapore (Jetstar Asia) route network. Your paramount responsibility is to ensure the profitability of this network, steering long-term strategic planning, collaborating with the Fleet team for aircraft and capacity coordination, network design, competitor analysis, and in-season capacity management.
To be considered, key skills will include:
Airline experience (7+ years of airline Network Planning, financial/strategic or commercial planning, and/or management consulting
In-depth knowledge of the airline industry and the Asia Pacific market, including optimising for connecting network flows
Functional knowledge across marketing, sales, distribution and customer facing business areas highly regarded
Airline modelling and systems experience advantageous, especially network modelling tools
Data analytics expertise highly regarded
Talented leader, capable of delivering business targets, while also motivating & developing people
Proven ability to consider analytical inputs and diverse qualitative inputs to make high quality decisions
Balanced risk appetite with willingness to take carefully measured risks and apply learnings to future decision making
This role also requires our team members to be willing and able to travel internationally to perform audits with our suppliers across the globe. In return, a flexible and hybrid working environment is on offer to the successful applicant.
