We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the Network Segmentation Project by overseeing its planning, execution, and delivery. Reporting to the Program Manager, you will work closely with cross-functional teams across regions, as well as stakeholders and vendors. The primary focus is on achieving successful project completion within set timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Project Overview:
The Network Segmentation project will divide the organisation's Australian and offshore Campus network into separate security zones, covering various elements like user devices, printers, and building systems, extending to both wired and wireless networks. The Network Segmentation serves as a key strategy to bolster overall security measures.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Create detailed project plans encompassing scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and budgets.
- Identify and distribute resources, both internal team members and external support.
- Foster open communication and collaboration among all project stakeholders, by conducting routine meetings to monitor project milestones.
- Clearly define roles and responsibilities, while mentoring and coaching team members for their professional development.
- Establish and sustain robust relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their needs and aligning project objectives with business goals.
- Proactively identify and address project risks, in collaboration with the QA lead/manager to ensure project deliverables meet established standards.
- Uphold adherence to project management methodologies, best practices, and governance frameworks, conducting regular evaluations for improvement.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Demonstrated, extensive experience as an IT Project Manager, specifically in Network Segmentation projects.
- Proficient in project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Aptitude for influencing and negotiating with stakeholders across different organizational levels.
- Certification such as (Project Management Professional) certification or an equivalent qualification.
