Who are we?
Life Saving Victoria is Victoria's peak water safety and lifesaving organisation. It is committed to its mission to prevent aquatic-related death and injury across all Victorian communities. LSV is a recognised agency of Emergency Management Victoria and provides emergency response services across the state through its vast network of lifesaving clubs, lifeguards, marine, and aerial rescue services. LSV is a Registered Training Organisation and a charity registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission.
How will this position contribute to Life Saving Victoria’s mission?
The Senior Manager – Organisation Development is responsible for the design, development and delivery of diverse contemporary organisational learning and development strategies, policies, projects and initiatives for LSV to support its culture and drive engagement through a workforce capability. This role will be accountable for a portfolio of Organisational Development programs across the organisation, including implementing LSV's L&D framework, building and aligning LSV's leadership model, rolling out and embedding our new Values, project management of our change management program and staff engagement survey and actions. As well leading and supporting a program of new and existing initiatives, including identifying individual, team and organisation-wide strategic and operational development needs and designing and implementing best practice solutions.
This is a part-time, 12 month fixed term position. In return Life Saving Victoria will provide a great work environment, variety, employee benefits including salary packaging, and great office amenities and facilities.
The role will be based Port Melbourne, with the ability to work hybrid and/or regional office including Geelong and Carrum Downs, some of the week.
Who are you?
This position would ideally suit a tertiary-qualified (or equivalent experience) Manager with extensive experience in designing, developing, delivering, and evaluating diverse Talent Management, learning, and development strategies and programs.
You will be able to demonstrate your superior conceptual, analytical thinking, and research skills and experience in complex data analysis. You will also have excellent communication, interpersonal, consultation, negotiation, leadership, computer, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
HBDI accreditation, Culture Amp administration experience and PsyBA Board Approved Supervisor, organisation design experience highly regarded.
