We are looking for a Senior Manager, Partnerships to join the Perth Festival team on a full-time, permanent position. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated and goal-oriented leader who is keen to make a contribution to the future success of the Perth Festival!
Working closely with the Head of Development, this pivotal role will lead a team to achieve Perth Festival's strategic Development goals. By crafting and implementing innovative strategies, you'll spearhead efforts to meet annual revenue targets through corporate and government partnerships, spanning the spectrum of events under the festival's umbrella. With our dynamic new Artistic Director at the helm, we're poised for an exciting evolution in our artistic direction, presenting a prime opportunity to further develop existing relationships, and influence the establishment of new and creative partnerships. Some of the key responsibilities of the role are to:
- Lead, guide and supervise the Partnerships Team to ensure team targets are achieved and partnerships are coordinated effectively on a day-to-day basis including effective preparation of proposals and funding applications, negotiation of contracts, fulfillment of partnership obligations and activations, acquittals and reporting.
- Proactively identify, approach and secure partnership prospects to drive growth in partnerships revenue, with a focus on (but not limited to) major corporate sponsorships.
- Represent Perth Festival at Festival Events, industry-wide functions and conventions as appropriate.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Minimum three years’ experience in a similar role with team leadership experience
- Relevant tertiary qualification (marketing, business/commerce) or demonstrated equivalent competency
- Proven fundraising experience including identifying, approaching and securing new business opportunities
- Experience in leading and motivating a team to achieve strategic goals and targets
