About You
To be successful in obtaining this strategic and influential appointment, you will be highly experienced in the successful delivery of complex Technology Projects and Programs including Infrastructure, IT, OT, Data and Systems. You will be exceptional in leading and developing highly experienced multi-disciplinary teams with a mix of internal FTE’s and external talent.
You have extensive experience in managing multiple stakeholders with competing priorities and leading transformational change through a changing culture.
The individual will require extensive head of function experience where you have been responsible for multiple streams and a large budget in excess of $40 million portfolio of Programs and Projects.
Holding a reputation of being a strategic thinker and an exceptional leader, you will have strong examples of successfully negotiating outcomes and leading transformation change projects through influence and by building positive relationships across the business. You will demonstrate a strong commercial acumen and have proven experience in technology governance, audit management, and risk management. You will have extensive experience in contract management and strategic sourcing to ensure the outcomes are delivered in an efficient way, with regard to appropriate financial management, whilst risks are managed.
This outstanding opportunity will appeal to a seasoned professional with extensive prior experience who is focused on business transformation, commercial management and Delivery and is excited by significant growth and innovative change. It is likely that the successful candidate will align with prior experience gained in critical infrastructure industry sectors such as utilities or mining, or heavy infrastructure, incorporating a rich base of critical knowledge.
In addition, your responsibilities will include:
Fostering trust with our people, customers and community by providing expert advice and service that ensure we effectively communicate and engage audiences with our business strategy and its delivery across South Australia, every day.
You will:
- Lead Technology Governance and Risk Management
- Lead the delivery of Technology Programs and Projects
- Strategic sourcing, supply chain management & commercial development
- Build and lead an effective team that works collaboratively toward achieving the organisation’s goals
Your success in this role will come from:
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills, including a demonstrated ability to negotiate outcomes and positively influence business relationships
- Proven extensive experience in the successful delivery of a highly complex portfolio of initiatives including Infrastructure, IT, OT, Data and systems
- Demonstrated experience in leading the delivery of technology and business transformation programs and projects
- Experience in leading and developing multi-disciplinary teams with an ability to management multiple stakeholder relationships and change culture
- Proven experience in outcomes-based sourcing, vendor, and contract management
- Strong commercial acumen and extensive experience in financial management
