  • Salary: $112,625 - $122,610 p.a. (pro rata) – AHP4 - Temporary Part-Time – 22.5 hours per week, up until 13 September 2024.

Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) is eager to recruit an Senior Acute Program Manager to work in our dynamic, growing and supportive team, to help us deliver exceptional care to our community.

About the Role:

An exciting opportunity is presented to work within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as a Senior Acute Program Manager within the Allied Health Division.

The Senior Acute Program Manager, Allied Health NALHN is accountable to the Executive Director, Allied Health, NALHN via the Director Clinical Service Operations Allied Health for:

  • Development, Implementation, Coordination, and Evaluation of specific Portfolio activities including quality projects, program / service evaluation, new service initiatives and development / review of divisional procedures.
  • Working with other Managers and Allied Health Clinicians, the Program Manager optimises team function and service delivery outcomes that positively impact on client health outcomes.
  • Provision of professional leadership and coordination to support divisional projects / functions which underpin best practice service provision across the NALHN service.

To be eligible for this position, you must Appropriate degree or equivalent qualification for one of the following Allied Health disciplines working in the service, specifically:

  • Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
  • Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
  • Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
  • Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership of the Dietitians Association of Australia (DAA).
  • Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
  • Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration with the Podiatry Board of Australia.
  • Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification, usually in human movements, inclusive of the exercise physiology elective and eligible for accreditation from Exercise Sports Science Australia (ESSA).
