Job Description

This role will lead the function that provides and maintains a single source of consistent information on all Technology operational run services delivered to the business. Responsible for the delivery of Technology Service Desk, Application Services and Problem and Incident Management capabilities to all Endeavour Group Brands and partners. Lead the  Service Operations RUN teams to support Endeavour Group IT operations.

  • Lead the creation, implementation and adoption of major IT Service Management run processes within the Technology organisation across Service Desk, Application Services and Problem & Incident Management..

  • Provide consistent interfaces between the business and service providers in the areas of incident, problem and service request management, etc.

  • Implementation and governance of service performance targets and measures for all service partners 

  • Create and track quality metrics to understand the effectiveness of processes and inform areas where continuous improvement efforts are needed. 

  • Drive a continuous process improvement culture within the organisation and lead activities as required to meet changing business and user needs.

  • Manage the risk controls and compliance with the process across the respective groups (Internal and external partners)

  • Run and optimise the Service Operations portfolio and lead the community of practice, co-chairing with Senior Manager, Service Management.

  • Accountable for the operational delivery of the Critical IT Processes across Endeavour Technology/IT.

  • Build and maintain relationships with the Endeavour IT Leadership teams to support those processes

  • Deeply understand the business strategy and align process and policy to support.

  • Manage and deliver the process outcomes via stakeholder sponsored governance framework.

  • Drive the delivery of automation for the portfolio and delivery of the outcomes through the implementation of an automation plan.

  • Identify and manage risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies for the portfolio

  • Develop a team driven by strong customer service-centric values

  • Close collaboration and partnership with all Service Management streams and competencies.

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in IT or a related discipline will be highly regarded

  • ITIL V3 Master certification - foundation minimum. 

  • ITIL4 Managing Professional 

  • ISO20000

  • Experience developing IT strategies, implementing new technologies & driving change

  • Experience in liaising with external service providers to deliver agreed outcomes

  • Demonstrated awareness with a thorough history of running Service Desk and Application Services teams.

  • Demonstrated awareness and deep understanding of Problem and Incident Management processes.
