Senior Operations Manager – NSW

With a commitment to excellence and quality, our client serves national and international sector with headquarters in Japan. As the operations in NSW continue to expand we are now looking for a skilled Senior Operations Manager or Factory Manager to lead the team at our clients Ingleburn site, ensuring safety, efficiency, and profitability.
Bi-lingual English/Japanese role
Responsibilities:
In this role you will be responsible for the smooth operations of Management of all operational facets including production planning, forecasting, OH&S, HR, resourcing, purchasing, invoicing, logistics auditing and budgeting.
You will have to experience to cultivate a safe, compliant, and efficient work environment. Drive operational excellence to meet customer demands and optimize production efficiency. Oversee supply chain logistics to minimize costs and ensure timely deliveries.
Maintain inventory control to ensure optimal stock levels.
Utilize advanced systems and data analytics to enhance operational efficiency and innovation. Lead and motivate a dedicated team to achieve operational goals and resolve issues collaboratively with clear communication in both English and Japanese.
Foster strong relationships with vendors and customers and maintain financial stewardship to meet business objectives.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Essentially this role with be 80% English language and 20% in Japanese reporting to HQ in Japan.
At least 5 years of hands-on managerial experience in the manufacturing sector, ideally in construction or engineering or construction materials based.
Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams in a dynamic environment.
Strong interpersonal skills with the capability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
Comprehensive knowledge of engineering, manufacturing logistics, and distribution principles.
Experience managing materials and construction products.
Proficient in, Microsoft Suite, production systems, and CRM databases.
