The focus of PHNs is to streamline primary health services and improve community health outcomes, especially for vulnerable populations. HNC covers the north coast region from Tweed Heads to Port Macquarie across Githabul, Bundjalung, Yaegl, Gumbaynggirr, Dunghutti and Birpai lands.

About the role
The Senior Manager, Service Planning leads the Service Planning function for Healthy North Coast. Service planning taking into account current and future community health needs and preferences, to provide clear direction for service development and to make the best use of resources to improve population health outcomes. The role is responsible for analysing available health information, engaging stakeholders, developing robust health needs assessments, service plans and service/program evaluation.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Demonstrated leadership of Service Planning and/or service/program evaluation functions across a complex healthcare organisation
- Technical expertise in developing a Service Planning framework, methods and resourcing plan
- Demonstrated skills in accessing, analysing, interpreting and managing Service Planning information
- Previous experience in developing a health needs assessment
- Strong Communication and people leadership with the ability to manage, develop, support and coach people to achieve success
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in health Service Planning or a related field and/or equivalent in management experience, 8+ years
