About the Opportunity

The Senior Marketing Lead is responsible for designing effective visual communication and marketing campaigns that support our internal brand, increase awareness and recognition of Council initiatives in the community, and promote a professional public image.

This position is Fixed Term until October 2024 and is based in any of our major towns (Dalby, Chinchilla, Miles, Tara & Wandoan).

Reporting to the Communication and Marketing Manager, you will:

  • Coordinating projects, creative innovative campaigns and generating creative content for Council's social media platforms and digital space and working to improve the overall performance of these channels;
  • Filming, editing and packaging video and audio suitable for a range of platforms, eg. news broadcast, website and social media;
  • Designing high quality communication and marketing collateral in accordance with Council's brand hierarchy and associated style guides across a range of platforms including print, broadcast, and digital.

About yourself

The successful applicant will have experience in:

  • Creating and conceptualising design elements for print and digital platforms, that will support all functions of Council.
  • Designing, publishing and scheduling content for social media, website platforms and digital advertising.
  • Marketing and communications with an ability to think outside the square to recommend creative solutions.
  • Hold a relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing or associated discipline (eg. public relations, communications, graphic design).
  • Using the Adobe suite for graphic design and video production.
