AddressThe Senior Material Planner plays a crucial role in ensuring the inventory management of raw materials to meet manufacturing volumes. Additionally, this position provides essential support to the Planning team, ensuring operational and production continuity.
The role involves maintaining a consistent planning system throughout production, focusing on enhancing inventory performance. The overall responsibility is to contribute to all Planning Systems, Kanban Calculators, Vendor Schedules, and any other implemented planning systems.
Major Responsibilities
As the Senior Material Planner responsible for material planning, you will be tasked with overseeing the procurement of raw materials, semi-finished, and finished goods to ensure that all orders are delivered on time while optimizing inventory levels.
To achieve this, you will:
- contribute to the implementation and management of Kanban,
- contribute to the management of inventory planning systems, and
- ensure the integrity of planning systems, including SAP Master data and vendor schedules.
Furthermore, you will participate in improvement activities such as transitions to transport Kanban, lead time improvements with vendors, MOQ reductions with vendors, coordinating changes in supply arrangements with vendors based on Kanban changes, and coordinating vendor schedules.
You will analyze data in SAP to provide meaningful reports, dashboards, and actionable insights.
