Senior Medical Receptionist / PA

Receptionist Responsibilities:
- Manage appointment bookings efficiently for our patients.
- Handle calls with professionalism and empathy, both incoming and outgoing.
- Take care of general administration duties and ensure accurate data entry.
- Skilfully manage billing processes, including Medicare and Hospital/Private Health claims.
- Cultivate strong relationships with our valued patients.
- Coordinate the booking of procedures at private and public hospitals, including patient admissions.
- Handle daily banking activities.
Additional Responsibilities as PA:
- Manage a specific doctor's calendar effectively.
- Ensure smooth workflow by reviewing appointment and procedure booking calendars.
- Maintain organized and secure filing of medical records.
- Conduct audits of accounts and appointments.
- Provide training, support, and guidance to team members.
- Uphold compliance standards and maintain accreditation.
Skills & Experience:
- Meticulous attention to detail, adept at multitasking, and strong problem-solving abilities
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure with composure
- Demonstrated experience in team work within a similar setting
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently, following established practice processes
- Professional phone etiquette and impeccable presentation
- Familiarity with Medicare billing and related processes
- Strong work ethic and commitment to excellence
- Previous experience in a customer service role preferred
Remuneration will be based on experience.
