clinic.skin. is a privately owned GP skin cancer clinic with two experienced skin cancer doctors with a dedicated following on the Sunshine Coast. The clinic is a spacious modern facility in a stand alone building with on site parking. Our long term Senior Receptionist/Office Manager is retiring. We are a small enthusiastic dedicated team, more akin to a specialist clinic than a general practice.
Qualifications & experience
- Experience preferred/essential
- Use of Best Practice Software including private billing, batching of Medicare
- excel at customer service and strong interpersonal skills
- communicates effectively with strong written and verbal communication skills
Tasks & responsibilities
- General reception duties, answering the phone, making appointments, creating new patient files
- Billing patients at the time of consultation, Medicare batching and reconciliation
- Supervise and train administrative staff
- Collaborate with Drs and Nursing staff for ordering supplies
- Accounting data entry into Xero
- Collate staff time sheets, prepare staff pays, prepare Doctors' medical service invoices
- Liaise with trades, such as AC service techs, electricians, IT support
