What you will be doing:
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Recruitment Professional to join the Senior Medical Recruitment Team as a Team Leader on a permanent full time basis. The Team Leader is responsible for provision of high-quality specialist expert recruitment and payroll consultancy service to head of departments, senior managers, and Senior Medical staff, consistent with NSW Health policies and procedures. This includes timely, accurate and consistent advice in relation to specialist recruitment processes, interpretations of the Awards, and payroll related matters, financial management activities. This position is responsible for the coordination of end-to-end recruitment of the SMO Workforce for International Medical Graduates and senior overseas recruitment.

New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate (IM011 immunisation medical exemption form) certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.
Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified and must not exceed the duration or conditions associated with the current visa.
Selection Criteria to be Addressed: * Demonstrated understanding of Senior Medical Recruitment and transactions.
- Demonstrated experience supporting recruitment and staff establishment functions within a large-scale organisation.
- Demonstrated management of staff in a complex healthcare setting and managing internal customers at varying organisational levels.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritise, and work as part of a highly functioning team considering the impact on others to achieve results to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated well developed professional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to compose quality correspondence, documents, and reports in a professional and timely manner.
- Demonstrated high level customer orientation and stakeholder management experience including the ability to implement effective complaint management protocols and escalation processes.
- Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure to meet pre-determined targets and deadlines associated with a high-volume workload.
- Demonstrated experience in the use of Microsoft Office packages (including Word, Outlook, and Excel), Human Resources Information Systems and electronic Recruitment systems.
