This position directly supports our purpose and ensures our members can count on us by delivering outstanding service to meet member needs while achieving agreed performance outcomes and maintaining compliance obligations. This role has become available due to an internal promotion.
The opportunity.
This position is accountable for:
- Delivering outstanding member service to achieve agreed performance goals including enabling members to achieve their financial goals.
- Opening accounts, processing transactions, and responding to member queries.
- Proactively promoting Defence Bank to broaden and grow our member base.
- Completing branch tasks to ensure ongoing compliance with legislation and Defence Bank’s policies and processes.
- Supporting the branch and the Regional Manager by collaborating with all branches in the network.
About you.
As a customer service star, you’re passionate about providing a consistent yet memorable experience. Your knack for uncovering needs, providing appropriate solutions, and achieving results wills see you excel in this position. You connect with people, establish rapport and building trust quickly.
To be successful in this position, you will have:
- At least two years experience in a retail sales team ideally within financial services.
- High school certificate or equivalent
Demonstrated experience or skills in:
- Achieving agreed goals in line with individual and team plans.
- Building effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Facilitating presentations to small and large groups.
- Picking up new concepts quickly.
- Time management with the ability to handle unplanned interruptions.
- Using Microsoft Office applications to create relevant documents, presentations, and spreadsheets.
