Senior Mental Health Clinician

Position: Senior Community Mental Health Clinician specialising in adult mental health.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of adult clients to determine mental health needs and treatment goals.
• Develop and implement individualised treatment plans utilising evidence-based practices.
• Provide therapy, counselling, and support services to adults experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and psychotic disorders.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other professionals to coordinate care and ensure holistic treatment approaches.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions and psycho-educational workshops as needed.
• Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in acute distress.

Qualifications:

• Master's or doctoral degree in Counselling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Current license or eligibility for license as a Clinical Social Worker, Psychologist, or Mental Health Counsellor
• WWCC
• NPC
• Minimum of 12 months of experience providing direct clinical services in a community mental health setting, with a focus on adult populations.
• Demonstrated expertise in conducting mental health assessments, diagnosing mental health disorders, and developing treatment plans.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and interventions for adult mental health issues.
