SENIOR MENTAL HEALTH AOD CLINICIAN

Contract terms: Full time, 76 hours per fortnight 

Location: Rockingham

About the role

Possessing a high level of clinical knowledge and skills, the Senior Mental Health AOD clinician's role is to provide clinical leadership and support to the team and line management activities as delegated by the Service Manager. The role will support effective delivery of integrated AOD services at Rockingham and promote the close relationship between Palmerston and Next Step. 

Pay Level is equivalent to Level 6 – Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010.

About you

  • Completed Qualification in Social Work, Psychology or Occupational Therapy and experience working in the Mental Health sector
  • Experience in the leadership of a team, specifically within a clinical setting, including line management
  • Demonstrated experience to be able to comprehensively assess, plan, implement and evaluate care within a complex environment.
  • Proven ability in clinical assessment and intervention in the areas of Mental Health and alcohol and other drugs.
  • Demonstrated ability or demonstrated commitment to the delivery of evidence based therapeutic approaches and interventions.
