About the role: We have an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic team leading our approach to the provision of quality care to clients of the Mental Health Service. The community Mental HealthRehabilitation Team provides a voluntary, Trauma Informed, Recovery Orientated service. This Multidisciplinary team provides Mental Health, medical and psychosocial support based on individuals’ needs by specialised, goal focused support for people to move forward with their life and their recovery.
The team also provides a late onset of psychosis service (LOPS) providing support for people who are over 25 and experiencing their first episode of psychosis. This service involves providing comprehensive assessment, medical treatment, counselling and education for consumers and their families. The senior clinician role would support more junior team members with assessments, case formulations and supervision as well as to support the manager to offer leadership within the team.
The Senior Mental Health Rehabilitation Clinician will provide clinical expertise and specialist rehabilitation knowledge to provide high quality rehabilitation care to Mental Health consumers consistent with NSW Health and St Vincent’s policies, procedures and standards.
