The Role
Based on-site at Kanmantoo Copper Mine, reporting to the Principal Mining Engineer you will be working with a dedicated team of professionals, all striving towards the same goal! Preferably on an 8/6 continuous roster.
As an experienced Mining Engineer, you will already understand the requirements and responsibilities of this role. Working in at a small mine means you will gain all round experience, enhancing and propelling your career forward. Our unique environment equates to rapid feedback on your work and input, while seeing what you designs coming to life in the blink of an eye – there’s no room for dust to settle here!
The Fundamentals
The ability to adapt to changing situations, jump between priorities and manage your own workload will be essential; although a high level of communication is required, you will work independently in your role. It's imperative you possess excellent communication, prioritisation and time management skills - let’s be honest, there’s a lot to achieve here in this start-up/scale-up business.
Essential Minimum Requirements
- Current South Australian Driver’s License
- Graduate qualification in Mining Engineering (or equivalent)
- Underground mining experience, preferably in smaller mining operations.
- Experience with underground mine planning, stope design and drill & blast.
- Completed underground practical experience.
- Competent Deswik experience, or the ability to pick up quickly.
