Senior Motor Loss Assessor - NSW and ACT

We currently have a full-time position available for Senior Motor Assessor.

Your days will be interesting and varied, and will help you grow and develop as a Senior Assessor.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing technical assistance, advice and support to assessors
- Preparing the daily allocation of nominated assessing runs in NSW and ACT
- Completing assessing audits and delivering coaching to the team
- Completing monthly reports in conjunction with your manager
- Helping to maintain client relationships by providing technical and customer support
- Communicating and implementing client requirements to the assessing team
- Monitoring average repair costs within guidelines
- Identification and delivery of training to Assessors
- Contributing to the preparation and delivery of assessing team meetings
- Assisting with management of the assessing function in NSW and ACT
- Development and monitoring of KPIs relating to productivity, quality and timeliness of assessments
- Undertaking Motor Loss assessments as required
- Intrastate and interstate travel as required

About you
To be considered for this role, you will need to be able to demonstrate:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the insurance industry or related trade
- Strong Leadership skills, highly motivated
- A proven ability to lead and manage people
- Solid understanding of the insurance assessing industry
- Motor vehicle trade qualified – preferably Panel Beating or spray painting
- Experience as a repair shop manager or estimator (preferred)
- Knowledge of MS Office applications
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
- Exceptional negotiation and influencing skills
- Self-motivated and able to work autonomously
- Current valid drivers’ license (essential)
- National Australian Police Check and willingness to obtain
