Job Summary
Enterprise and Business provides a high level of technical support and post-sales delivery services to clients – this involves design, implementation, support, and resolution to complex problems relating to network, IP Telephony, security, systems, storage, and wireless solutions. The Senior Network Engineer will provide comprehensive design, solution build/ implementation, scoping and technical support to the sales/pre-sales team, assist and mentor mid to junior level engineers.
Key Responsibilities
Develop capability and technical skills/certifications to support existing and new Optus Enterprise offerings
Work closely with project managers and share major responsibility in managing customer expectations at the outset of projects.
Undertaking system analysis, technical design, implementation, and maintenance of solutions applied to customer’s environment.
Ensure compliance with Optus Enterprise Quality and Project Management Systems, Key Business Processes.
This role involves visits to client and prospective client sites. Most clients are located within the local CBD. Staff members are expected to have a current driver’s license and provide their own transportation.
Experience and Qualifications
A minimum of 6-8 years related technical experience
with relevant vendor certifications
CCIE/CCNP in Routing Switching/SP/DC or JNCIE/JNCIP in ENT/SP
Extensive technical experience in design, installation and support of medium to large enterprise or campus networks.
Experience in technical pre-sales and customer implementation as a lead engineer
