CompanyBased on the southside of Brisbane this organisation is a well known and respected industrial electrical contractor and systems integrator. They work with key clients to deliver high quality electrical and control system projects and services throughout Qld and northern NSW, from concept and design through to installation, commissioning and maintenance.
Position
Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will provide technical and engineering expertise across a diverse range of projects. Your daily tasks will include functional design specifications, control narratives, programming, implementation, troubleshooting and fault finding complex Control Systems.
Duties:
- Develop, design and engineer control system solutions in line with specific client requirements and projects.
- Ensure compliance to Australian standards and company certification requirements.
- Complete complex systems integration tasks including configuration and implementation.
- Work effectively as part of a team, be willing to mentor junior colleagues and share knowledge.
- Minimum 3+ years experience in PLC, SCADA & HMI technology, especially in programming.
- Sound technical knowledge such as Allen Bradley, RSLogix, Studio 5000, Citect, Factory Talk.
- Experience in complex fault finding and troubleshooting both remotely and on-site.
- Sound knowledge of Australian statutory and regulatory guidelines.
- Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with both clients and colleagues.
