Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage enterprise-level network solutions, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Monitor and optimize network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Ensure network security by implementing and maintaining robust security measures and protocols.
- Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies to improve network functionality and meet evolving business needs.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and deliver network solutions that meet or exceed expectations.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, sharing knowledge and best practices.
- Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- +5 years of experience in Network Engineering roles, with a focus on designing and managing complex network environments.
- Strong expertise in networking technologies, protocols, and standards, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and VPNs.
- Hands-on experience with network hardware and software, such as Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, and Fortinet.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve network issues in a timely manner.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant certifications, such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, or equivalent, are highly desirable.
