AddressA growing managed service provider is seeking a Senior Network Engineer with solid cloud experience to join their team on a permanent basis.
Joining a growing, collaborative and supportive team environment, you be engaged on a large, internal tech refresh program, contributing to the design and implementation of a new Fortinet SDWAN solution along with the deployment of network devices on both private (VMware NSX) and public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure). You will also contribute towards some of their customer projects.
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant industry certifications (CCCIE preferred, along with any certifications in VMware, AWS etc)
- Proven Network Engineering experience gained within large, enterprise environments
- Strong knowledge and experience designing, implementing, supporting and troubleshooting core network devices (routing / switching) across a number of vendors (Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper and Palo Alto)
- Previous experience in the deployment of a Fortinet SDWAN is highly regarded
- Advanced knowledge and experience with VXLAN / EVPN along with routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, OSI / TCP IP
- Proven experience with network virtualisation technologies including NSX (NSX-T and/or NSX-V), VMware vCentre and NSX Manager
- Experience working with AWS or Azure
- Superior troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills combined with strong stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong team work skills with the ability to work independently as required
