Your responsibilities: 

As a Senior Occupational Therapist in the team, you will:

• Provide service to a caseload of clients (mostly NDIS clients).
• Complete comprehensive assessments and identify plans to enhance outcomes related to independence, employment, and wellbeing.
• Strive for solutions that are clinically justified and empower consumers to balance risk and rewards.
• Provide clinical support to new Occupational Therapists. 
• Work collaboratively to ensure positive client outcomes.
• Promote continuous improvement and best practice.
• Deliver high quality services within a range of funding and legislative models including NDIS, Aged Care and Disability Employment Services

About you:

You will need to have a relevant Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy, a current AHPRA registration, and preferably experience in the Disability or Health Sector. 

You are consumer focused, determined and self-disciplined, resilient and adaptive and collaborative. You can work autonomously and are able to provide extensive support and training to your team.

However, just as important is your belief in and passion for our mission and desire to positively impact the lives of people living with MS and other neurological conditions.

If successful, you will need to:

• Complete a NDIS Worker Screening Check
• AHPRA Registration
• Complete a Working with Childrens Check. 
• Have a valid driver’s license.
• A National Police Check (or International Police Check if required).
