About the Role:
We're expanding our Dunedin service and seeking a dedicated Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team. This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, with flexibility to manage tasks remotely. You'll work closely with our Clinic Manager and play a vital role in our multidisciplinary team. Collaboration is key as you'll work alongside physiotherapists, psychologists, and other allied health professionals. Your responsibilities will include providing services such as Concussion and Vocational Rehabilitation, with the opportunity for training in ACC Housing Modifications. Daily tasks involve workplace assessments, patient education, and liaising with external partners. As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you'll also mentor and supervise colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting assessments funded by private clients and ACC.
- Delivering patient education, training, treatment, and rehabilitation across various community environments.
- Offering mentorship, supervision, and assistance to junior colleagues.
- Engaging in initiatives to enhance and expand TBI Health's assessment and rehabilitation services in the Otago area.

The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy with at least 4 years of clinical experience; a post-graduate qualification is preferred. Previous work under ACC Contracts, like Concussion and Vocational Rehabilitation, is advantageous.
