We are currently working with one of WA's newest insurance brokerages who have offices based both in Perth CBD and Kalgoorlie, to assist them in expanding their Kalgoorlie team.

About the role: 

  • This role's main focus is the responsibility of all administration/ receptionist tasks in the Kalgoorlie office, i.e. answering/ transferring phone calls, customer service related tasks, general office administration and upkeep tasks, assisting brokers with day to day organisation tasks, paperwork, managing their calendars, organising meetings etc. While managing the Kalgoorlie administration work, you will also assist brokers in the Perth office with general admin tasks as well. 
  • While the roles main focus is the tasks above, you will also work along side experienced Insurance Brokers to be trained in basic, entry level insurance broking tasks.
  • You will be the face of the Kalgoorlie office, so building relationships with clients is also a crucial part of the role. 
  • Initially you will work independently managing all office administration, once settled in the role you will assist with the hiring process to find a junior administrator to work alongside you.

Necessary experience & qualities: 

  • Must be confident socially both over the phone and in person, well spoken, professional and well presented. 
  • Must have previous experience in an administration or receptionist role.
  • Must be familiar with Microsoft Suites and confident using computers. 
  • Must be eager to learn, switched on, career driven and have a strong attention to detail. 
  • Eager to work with a great team who have a friendly, positive team culture.
