Page Personnel is partnering with a leading ASX listed, resources company whose operations are in lithium, iron ore, energy and mining services. This client is looking for a dynamic, well experienced, hard working individual to join their team on a temporary contract with the potential to progress into a permanent opportunity.
Description
- Ensure the data contained in Purchase Orders is accurate and to an acceptable standard
- Expedite ordered goods to ensure they arrive within the agreed time frame and escalate where deliveries are late
- Guide end users in the correct use of the company P2P system to promote effective Purchase Order creation
- Develop effective working relationships with end users to promote high levels of customer service
- Resolve transactional purchasing queries in a timely manner
- Effectively communicate with the Strategic team to identify and promote compliance with contracted items
- Develop effective working relationships with vendors to promote high service levels
- Identify opportunities for improvement and promote a continuous improvement culture
- Assist Accounts Payable where required to resolve invoice queries
Profile
- Previous experience in Purchasing role required
- Excellent communication skills (Written and Verbal)
- Professional Presentation and Demeanour
- Strong problem solving skills
- Ability to adapt to new environments and be flexible
- Can work well in high pressure environment
- Flexible and willing to take on any task
- Positively contributes to team environment
- Excellent relationship building skills
- Full Working Rights with No Restrictions
